Using a
Color Washing Technique, the craftsman applies a base color and then layers of color which he then carefully removes with different faux tools such as sponges, rags and brushes. |

Color Wash can be used to bring all the decorator elements together, such as the bathroom pictured above, or, it can be used to highlight a feature such as the area above the mantel in this picture.
